Tropical Storm Bertha still active
Tropical Storm Bertha headed back out over open ocean and away from the U.S. mainland Tuesday after it battered Bermuda, knocking out electricity to thousands on the Atlantic tourist island.

Bertha expected to fade
According to the Associated Press, forecasters say Hurricane Bertha could begin to weaken within the next couple of days. As of 4 a.m. CDT Tuesday, the center of the storm was about 675 miles east-northeast of the northern Leeward Islands and about 1,035 miles southeast of Bermuda.
